TCAN Board has made a grave mistake in firing Michael Moran. Michael
is truly the "founding father" of TCAN. It was his original
vision and dedicated enthusiasm that made it happen. It has been his
call for community spirit that has helped TCAN grow. It has been through
his tireless efforts that TCAN has had such wonderful shows. It now
appears that Chairman Fiske and his Board have taken an arrogant approach
in dealing with Mr. Moran and have precipitated a black eye on what
was one of Natick's finest achievements.
I have been an enthusiastic TCAN supporter and volunteer since
the days when we were trying to buy and renovate the old Town Hall.
I don't remember seeing Mr. Fiske at those meetings. I would ask
everyone who has been a TCAN member and/or volunteer to withhold
their support until the Board comes to its senses and reinstates
Michael Moran. Only then will we be able to once again "do
amazing things"
